The Earth revolves around the Sun while rotating on its axis tilted. Rotating means to turn and to revolve means to go around. Tilt means to be slanted. The Earth is rotating counterclockwise creating day and night (24hrs). Earth revolves, every year, around the Sun tilted creating the seasons. The Moon revolves around Earth every month creating Moon phases and tides. The phases of the Moon are : new moon, waxing crescent, first quarter moon, waxing gibbous, full moon, waning gibbous, third quarter moon, and waxing crescent. Waxing means that the light is growing and waning means that the light is dying. The Sun is not the only star in the galaxy. Galaxies have millions or trillions of stars. There's different types of galaxies that are spiral, elliptical, and irregular. All of these types of galaxies make out the Universe with other celestial bodies.
The electromagnetic spectrum is the continuum of all electromagnetic waves arranged according to frequency and wavelength. The types of waves are the radio waves, microwaves, infrared, ultraviolet, x-ray, and gamma. The highest wave is radio wave but has less radiation.. The lowest wave is gamma wave but has more radiation. The waves can be seen by visual light or infra red.
What I learned about Space
The Earth revolves the same constant speed. It take 8.3 minutes for the light of the Sun to reach Earth.
Astronomers use radio waves for radio telescopes. Scientists use gamma rays to determine the composition of a planet. The difference between the electromagnetic radiations from each other is the energy carried by its photon.
